"Depuis que j'ai été initié, j'ai été assez surpris de ce que chaque membre vit sa Maçonnerie à des degrés différents. Mais je suis encore plus surpris de l'accueil réservé à chaque Frère, quel que soit l'endroit où il se rend. Dès les toutes premières secondes, on lui ouvre les bras comme un membre de la famille qu'on n'avait pas vu depuis longtemps."

"I always was attracted by the Masonic Logo without really knowing what it was. I remember noticing the bumper stickers logo on cars as I was sitting in the back seat of my parents’ cars. One time when I was older, I was walking back from the university, and I saw a few cars with the Masonic logo on their bumper. But, my interest towards Masonry really started when I was working night shift in 1998. A colleague of mine was talking about a secret society named "Freemasonry"."

"I had been aware of the fraternal aspect of Masonry but wondered what it is those guys do at meetings. The rituals and dense history of the craft intrigued me. I was attracted to the strong moral code as well. I have always had an interest in spiritualism and mysticism but never wished to join any organized church. The more I found out the more I realized that this fulfilled much that was lacking in my life. I knew it was for me. "

"My motivation to join was mostly due to my father and grandfather. They were both Masons and consequently great men. Many say that I take after my father and if I become even just half the man he became, I’ll be happy. "

"At the time of this writing it has been just over a year since my initiation and I thought that with the launch of this new website it would be the perfect opportunity for a bit of introspection. I also hope that other young masons will share their thoughts and experiences in the craft, in fact we have created a section of the Rough Ashlar specifically for these testimonials."
