I must first thank you for the comments I received on my editorial on Red Lodges. It warms my heart to know that there are so many people reading the Rough Ashlar.

This editorial is motivated by an article on the call at the Imperial Sessions in Baltimore that was overshadowed by the vote on the Montreal Hospital. The Imperial Shrine by-laws give leeway to any of the 191 Shrine Temples to apply for an exemption to the by-laws if the motion obtains a 2/3 majority of the vote.

This is an all-star football game between the State of Vermont and the State of New Hampshire for the purpose of raising money for the 3 Shriners Hospitals in the North East of which Montreal is one.
