Masonic Foundation Offers Thanks to Prince of Lebanon Lodge

The Masonic Foundation of Quebec wishes through this website to express our appreciation to the Prince of Lebanon Lodge for their generosity in giving the proceeds from their wonderful table lodge event of October 28th to assist in the work of repairing and restoring the roof of the Montreal Memorial Masonic Temple.

Karnak Shrine to Help Santa, Twice in One Day!

On Saturday, November 18th, 2006 the Karnak Shriners will participate in Montreal's yearly Santa Claus Parade. The parade is set to start at 11:00 am. After the parade all Nobles and their Ladies will return to Karnak for a quick lunch. Nobles are then encouraged to make their way to Cornwall, Ontario to participate in the Cornwall Parade of Lights, which is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm.

District 4 Donates to Notre-Dame d'Égypte Parrish

The brethren of Montreal District No. 4 recently made a joint contribution to the Notre-Dame d'Égypte Parrish to help with their charitable endeavours. The money was donated through the Masonic Foundation of Quebec.

Eastern Townships Shrine Club - A Year in Review

The idea of forming a Shrine Club in the Eastern Townships to give those members of Karnak Shriners who make their home there has been around for quite a number of years, not forgetting that there was in times past a Club in Sherbrooke with a great number of members. Finally on November 27.2005 all that talk was laid to rest with the founding of the E.T. Club Estrie in the backroom of a Pizzeria in Bedford.

Bedford District Donates to Shriner's Hospital

The lodges of Bedford District recently donated the proceeds from their annual Bedford District Charity Golf Tournament to the Shriner's Hospital in Montreal.

A cheque for the amount of $1000 was presented on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Stanbridge East to R.W. Br. Les Hastie, the current president of the Eastern Townships Shrine Club.
