In 1856, Most
Worshipful Brother W.M. Wilson, Grand Master of the Grand
Lodge of Canada, West, granted petitioners J.A. Walton, A.
Lindsay, J.J. Boyd, S. Mann, A. McLaughlin, H. Smith, and R.
Smith the dispensation to form a new Lodge in the town of
Sherbrooke (population 3400). On June 4th of that year,
Victoria Lodge was instituted. It was with these historic
events in mind that brethren gathered on September 30th 2006
to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Victoria Lodge No. 16.

encourging you all to attend the Bedford District Dinner on
Oct. 21 at the Memorial, Stanbridge East, Qc. A home cooked
turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served just like
the one that your Grand Mother use to make, along with a side
of roast beef plus assorted home cooked pies compliments of
Owl's Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
